GUI Reference: Analysis: Files Tab

The Files tab of an Analysis page displays information about each file analyzed by an analysis.

The Files tab is available for all analyses, independent of the language or languages involved.



Important Note: the CodeSonar Web GUI makes extensive use of JavaScript. Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your web browser.

Navigating to

The Files tab can be reached in any of the following ways.

From Analysis: Select the Files tab.
From Source Listing: Click the analysis name in the breadcrumbs.

If the Files tab is an establishing page for a file browse sequence, each Source Listing page that belongs to the sequence will also provide a browse sequence navigation link to that tab.

Contents and Usage

The Analysis: Files tab contains a table with one line for each file in the analysis. Where a file has multiple instances in the analysis, one instance is selected for display in this table.

Navigating from

view a source listing for a file Click the File Name in the corresponding table entry. Note that in some cases the version of the source file shown in the source listing will be different to the version described in the table: see Source Files: Availability for full details. The Source Listing will belong to a browse sequence for which the originating Files tab is the establishing page.
view the warnings tab or procedures tab Click the appropriate tab header.
view other information about the analysis See GUI: Analysis.
