GUI Reference: Users

This page lists all hub user accounts, with links to the Account Editor for each. It also provides functionality for setting the default template user.

In previous CodeSonar versions, this page provided functionality for activating, deactivating, and deleting user accounts. Deletion functionality is now available from the Account Editor. Activation and deactivation are now managed through Role-Based Access Control and depend on whether or not a user has G_SIGN_IN permission. For detailed instructions, see Task: Activate or Deactivate a User Account.

If you only need a list of hub user accounts you may prefer to access the Usernames page, which has less stringent RBAC permission requirements.

Important Note: the CodeSonar Web GUI makes extensive use of JavaScript. Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your web browser.

Navigating To

From Settings: In the User Administration tab, click Users.
From Click Users in the link bar (under the page heading).

Breadcrumbs Home > Settings > Users

  • Home links to the GUI Home page.
  • Settings links to the Settings page.
Page Heading Users
Links to related pages Links to other RBAC-related pages: Users (this page), Roles, Global Role-Permissions, Root Project Tree Permissions, Root Launch Daemon Group Permissions. The latter two links are to the Resource Role-Permissions pages for the root project tree and root launchd group, respectively.
Links for user creation Links to pages that provide functionality for creating new user accounts:
Default template user Use the menu to select the default template user for user account creation.
Table of Users A table listing all the user accounts on the hub, including those currently disabled.
  • The table has the standard pagination controls.
  • Click any row in the table to navigate to the Account Editor for the corresponding user account.
  • The available table columns are as follows.

    Username * Hub User Account . Username
    Email * Hub User Account . Email
    Last Address * Hub User Account . Last Login Address
    Last Sign In * Hub User Account . Last Login Time
    Id Hub User Account . User ID
    Permissions One column for each global permission. A column will contain a checkmark for a particular account if and only if the account has that permission through at least one of its assigned roles.
    The Sign In (G_SIGN_IN) column is displayed by default.
