New bugs can be introduced into software projects as development extends the code base. Therefore, it is often useful to know whether an analysis has issued any "new" warnings: warnings that were not issued by previous analyses of the same project.
The new Visible Warnings setting restricts display to the first occurrence of each warning (or occurrences, if an analysis issued multiple warning instances in the same warning group). Applied to the results of a single analysis, the new setting ensures that only warnings seen for the first time in that analysis are displayed.
