Summary

A function does not contain enough assertion statements.

The functions whose calls should be considered "assertion statements" are specified by the ASSERT_FAIL_FUNCTIONS setting. (The factory setting includes assert() and other functions.)
The definition of "enough" is specified by the MIN_ASSERTS setting. (The factory setting is 2.)
Functions are not subjected to this check if they contain fewer lines with code than the minimum specified by the MIN_ASSERTS_FUNCTION_LENGTH setting. (The factory setting is 0.)
