Task: Show Outstanding Warnings Belonging To A Specific User

Users who have responsibility for warnings will often want to see the list of unresolved warnings assigned to them. This involves a search, detailed below.



Method

To find the outstanding warnings assigned to the user called lindsay:

  1. If the CodeSonar Web GUI is not already open, open it now.

    You will be using the simple search tool.

  2. Select warnings in all projects from the domain/scope menu.
  3. Enter owner:lindsay in the search field.
  4. Click Search.

    CodeSonar will display a Warning Search Results page.

  5. Select active from the Visible Warnings menu.

    The Search Results page now lists the active warnings for which lindsay is the owner.
